About the Opportunity
- Monitor IFRS and evaluate the impact of changes on the business unit; create and present training on IFRS changes to finance staff
- Lead special projects related to implementation of new or changing accounting standards
- Draft position papers around technical accounting topics
- Perform research of technical accounting issues related to the business unit
- Evaluate financial reporting impact of changes to the business unit operations
- Provide technical support to the business unit Global accounting team in their assessment of accounting issues
- Monitor annual global statutory financial statements and audit process
About You
- CPA (CA)
- 4+ years of related working experience
- Working knowledge of IFRS with experience writing sections of the MD&A
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
